Hydropower plant reconstruction – a step forward in efficiency and automation

At Siapro, we successfully carried out a comprehensive reconstruction and modernization of a hydropower plant, focusing on the refurbishment and upgrade of the Pelton turbine. The project incorporates advanced technological solutions that ensure more reliable operation, improved regulation, and higher energy efficiency.

As part of the reconstruction, we carried out:

• complete automation the power plant operation,
• advanced water level regulation,
• remote monitoring and control system
• and replacement of the main valve, which will allow for a higher flow rate.

Based on these improvements, we expect approximately 12–15% higher efficiency of the turbine, which represents a significant increase in production and operational stability.
